College of Art and Visual Design (VCAD) is hosting an open house March 17, 2011 from 11:00? 1:00 pm at the downtown Vancouver campus. Prospective students are invited to learn more about VCAD? S-leading programs, meet faculty and students and explore career opportunities in art and design.

the open house, participants will be able to watch presentations by industry professionals and talk with different VCAD instructors including:

Lyn Jones (Interior Design): An interior designer registered in British Columbia with 25? industry experience
Abd Razak Rostina (Interior Design): A member of the Society of Interior Designers (Signapore) with over 14 years? teaching experience and 20 years of professional practice by working in international projects of interior design
Eleanor Heng (Graphic Design): An award-winning creative director with experience on both sides of creators and graphic design businesses
Russell Heyman (3D modeling and animation design): A special effects, talented character animator with a background of extensive field work with Walt Disney Television Studio. Russell developed programs for brand new games VCAD
Anne Morris: The director of VCAD?s current campus, which has extensive experience as an educator, award-winning fashion and has been involved in curriculum development programs for several fashion. Diploma programs VCAD

are designed with input from industry experts to ensure that graduates are able to meet the professional requirements of fashion, graphic design, interior design and the video game industry .
