What the cookie business has educated me in is that everyone is passionate about their Chocolate Chip Cookies!
Discussions about what different types of cookies people like; Peanut Butter, Snickerdoodle, and Oatmeal Raisin are fine but when we talk about these cookies the discussions never get as heated as they do any time we all talk about the Chocolate Chip Cookie.
Is it the size and shape of the chocolate? The rich vibram five fingers shoes , golden delicious flavor? The fact that it was created right here in the U.S of A.?
The chocolate chip cookie acquired it?s start in a country Inn located in Massachusetts in 1930. The American original was invented by Ruth Wakefield who owns the Inn as a dessert for her guests. In her cookbook titled Toll House Tried and True Recipes she included her recipe for her Chocolate Crunch Cookie, or what we call the Chocolate Chip Cookie today. Her cookbook proved popular with the housewives of the 30?s and 40?s whom took to baking them for their families. Some 80 years after it was invented the Chocolate Chip Cookie is still as popular as ever.
When it comes to what is the best type of chocolate chip cookies everyone has their own opinion, and the debate over thin or thick cookies five finger shoes , or crisp or chewy cookies always gets heated. What I personally consider the best is a soft inside and a crisp outside. But whether you like them crunchy or soft there is sure to be a cookie that has the perfect texture for you. The chocolate chip cookie has been transformed into more types of products than any other cookie. Macadamia nuts or walnuts are often added to chocolate chip cookies, and combinations including peanut butter and oats have been concocted. Substitute butterscotch chips or white chocolate chips for a wonderful change of pace.
Chocolate along with Peanut Butter is known as a classic combo so why not Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies?
Aren?t keen on a cookie, turn them into a bar and lets call them Chocolate Chip Bar Cookies baked in a brownie pan abercrombie outlet !
